West Ham floor feeble Arsenal to complete rough return for Declan Rice

It turns out there is life after Declan Rice. There would be no triumphant return to the London Stadium for the £105m man. West Ham were in no mood for a love-in with their former captain and relished punishing a diffident performance from Arsenal’s second string, cruising into the Carabao Cup quarter-finals thanks to thrilling bursts of attacking play from Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen early in the second half.

What a way for David Moyes to claim his first win over Arsenal as West Ham’s manager.
