The Kardashian/Jenner clan and other celebs turn out for Kanye West's Fashion Week Show

Kanye West showed off  his new Yeezy collection with Kim Kardashian for New York Fashion Week at Roosevelt Island, New York based on his Fashion Week  and most of their family members attended, including their   three children, North, three-years-old, and Saint, ten months old. Their children were seen stepping out  in style with their nannies in New York City on Wednesday with North wearing a turquoise Yeezy 'The Life of Pablo' sweater and white sneakers while her brother Saint was seen being pushed in his stroller. Kendall was also there, so were Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, rapper, Tyga. Other guests were singer Pharrel Williams, Formula 1 champion, Lewis Hamilton, former editor of Vogue Pris, Carine Roitfeld, , Lala Anthony and her son, Jordyn Woods and a host of others.   The Special Committee on Clean- Up of Ikoyi, Lekki, and Victoria Island in Lagos inaugurated by the State Governor, Mr Akinwunmi Ambode last week has concluded plans to start the enforcement of the Environmental Sanitation and Town Planning laws in  realated areas after the Sallah holidays.     Based  on the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Habib Aruna, the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chairman of the Committee on clean up, Mr Tunji Bello disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Wednesday, that this follows the expiration of the 14 day ultimatum issued to all owners of illegal structures, owners of abandoned buildings harbouring prostitutes, shanties, street hawkers and those who have converted walkways into trading points and food courts in the affected areas. A  47 year old Rita Maze, from Montana, who was kidnapped by “a large man in a black hoodie” who had hit her on the head and put her into a trunk of a car at a rest stop near Wolf Creek on Tuesday morning was able to phone her husband and even talk to police from the trunk of the car in which she was trapped in, but was dead by the time investigators found her more than two hundred and fifty miles away in Spokane,Washington state, authorities said Wednesday.

Survivor of deadly clash at Mile 12, Bolaji Kalejaiye was celebrated by Women Arise as he turned 17

A candidate of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) who was caught by stray bullets during a violent clash in Mile 12 of Lagos, Mr. Bolaji Kalejaiye turned 17 Wednesday.The survivor was celebrated by the Women Arise organization. Bolaji, then 16, was returning from his UTME test location at Ikeja, in a bid to gain admission in order to proceed for tertiary education. Upon alighting from the commercial bus he had boarded to his parent’s house, he was caught by the unannounced violence that had broken out in Mile 12. Bolaji was hit by a bullet fired from an unknown direction, which immediately pierced his stomach and ruptured his intestines.

A man named Tiemo B Pumokumo is alleging that the Nigerian Police sprayed his car with bullets while he on my way from Abuja, and it was a case of mistaken identity as they were targeting robbers. He shared these photos via his Facebook page and wrote: "The Nigerian Police just opened fire on my car on my way from Abuja. Bullets back and front..God pass dem.. Their excuse is they got information armed robbers where coming from my direction and decided to open fire on the first car coming."

Police arrest late Abubakar Audu’s son, family members in Kogi

The Police in Kogi state have arrested the son of late Kogi state governor, Abubakar Audu, Mohammed and about 15 other members of the late governor's family. According to the former governor's younger brother, Mustapha, Mohammed and other family members were arrested today and are being detained at the Lokoja Police Division.

Guy Ritchie and Madonna have settled their bitter custody battle over where their son Rocco should live. The custody disagreement began in December 2015 during a falling out between Rocco and his musician mother when he abandoned her Rebel Hearts tour, heading to London to live with his father and his wife Jacqui and refused to return to America to start the school term in January. This triggered a legal battle between his parents, especially when the teenager ignored a court order to fly back from Ritchie's London home to live with Madonna in New York. They have fought constantly over child-rearing issues as Madonna was the disciplinarian and felt Guy was way too permissive.
