The knee injury suffered by Keira Walsh in England’s 1-0 defeat of Denmark may not be as serious as first thought.

There were fears that the midfielder had suffered an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, but the Observer understands that, although the injury is still being assessed, there is hope it is not as serious as it seemed.
