Burnley v Watford postponed with only 10 first-team players available for Dyche

  • Covid, injuries and Afcon decimates depleted squad
  • Burnley haven’t played since 8 January due to postponements

Burnley’s Premier League game against Watford has been postponed after the Premier League accepted the Clarets’ application that they had fewer than the required number of players available.

Manager Sean Dyche revealed only 10 Burnley first-team players took part in training on Monday before the club applied for the postponement.
