Patson Daka on verge of ‘dream’ £23m Leicester move from RB Salzburg

  • Zambia striker’s transfer agreed subject to clearance
  • Daka scored 27 goals in 28 league matches last season

Patson Daka will complete his move to Leicester from Red Bull Salzburg on Thursday for about £23m, subject to Premier League and international clearance.

The Zambia striker, who scored 68 times in 125 appearances for Salzburg, told Leicester’s website: “I’m so, so excited to join this great, historic club. It has been my dream and I’m so happy and looking forward to what’s coming next.
