Championship roundup: Wilshere red as Cherries win over Watford ends in brawl

  • Danjuma scores only goal in Bournemouth’s 1-0 victory
  • Both sides reduced to 10 men after fractious encounter

Arnaut Danjuma scored the only goal as Bournemouth picked up a crucial 1-0 win over Championship promotion rivals Watford in an ill-tempered game which both teams finished with 10 men.

Danjuma fired the winner – his seventh goal of the season – 16 minutes into the second half to end the Cherries’ two-matching losing run.
