Where has it all gone wrong for Wolves? An eighth successive Premier League match without a victory following Eberechi Eze’s excellent goal meant Crystal Palace gained revenge for their FA Cup defeat earlier this month to move ahead of their opponents in the table.

But in the week that Nuno Espírito Santo made a personal donation of £250,000 to a new initiative supporting local food banks, the manner in which his side surrendered the points here will be a major concern.
