Manchester City mark David Silva's swansong with thrashing of Norwich

David Silva’s 309th and final Manchester City Premier League appearance was a canter of a victory. It means the champions of the past two years finish on 81 points, 18 behind the champions, Liverpool, with 102 goals as they bid farewell to Silva – from domestic competition, at least – the key player of the club’s past decade of success.

Silva’s silken touch was evident early on as he floated around the Norwich area. Yet City were handed a scare when Onel Hernández beat Ederson before VAR ruled it offside.
