Liverpool postpone Anfield Road stand expansion owing to Covid-19

  • Work was scheduled to begin in December
  • New stand expected to be completed in 2023

Liverpool have postponed the expansion of the Anfield Road stand by at least 12 months because of the impact of the coronavirus pandemic.

It's exactly 5pm when I visited Teachers Village camp, to see on the plight of our people. To my outmost dismay when coming out I came across these IDPs of Kukawa just returning from begging due severe hunger rocking them.''
