Manchester City lodge appeal against two-year Uefa ban and fine

  • Court of arbitration for sport says appeal registered
  • Process expected to take several months

Manchester City’s appeal against their two-year European ban and €30m (£25m) fine has been officially registered by the court of arbitration for sport (Cas).

City have vowed to fight the sanction imposed by Uefa on 14 February for breaching Financial Fair Play regulations.
