Steve Bruce is likely to approach this match in the same way that Rafael Benítez used to do, since the Spaniard’s counterattacking method brought victories on Newcastle’s last two visits to the King Power Stadium. Ayoze Pérez scored the winning goal on both occasions but, following his transfer to Leicester this summer, this time he will be on the opposite side. This would be a fine time for him to open his account for his new club, who will likely dominate possession on Sunday. Paul Doyle
