Uefa agrees deal with clubs to cap prices for away fans in European competition

• Champions League away tickets limited to €70 (£63.50)
• Europa League set to €45 (£41) maximum for away fans

Uefa has agreed a compromise deal with the continent’s top clubs to cap ticket prices for away fans in the Champions League and Europa League this season, PA understands.

Starting from next month’s opening group-stage fixtures, away tickets will cost a maximum of €70 (£63.50) in the Champions League and €45 (£41) in the Europa League.
