N’Golo Kanté misses training but Chelsea refuse to rule him out

• Kanté sat out session to have treatment on knee injury

Chelsea have not given up hope of N’Golo Kanté playing a part in Wednesday’s Europa League final despite the midfielder missing training on Monday to undergo treatment on a knee injury sustained over the weekend.

Kanté is due to travel to Baku on with the squad on Monday afternoon and his fitness will be closely monitored before a decision is made as to whether he plays against Arsenal, with Ross Barkley standing by to step in.
