Football transfer rumours: Idrissa Gueye to leave Everton for PSG?

Today’s tittle-tattle is watching that window inching shut

A £7.6m signing from Aston Villa in August 2017 at the beginning of the ill-fated Ronald Koeman era, tough-tackling midfield interceptor Idrissa Gueye is wanted by Paris-Saint Germain. Sky Sports say the French champions have tabled a bid of just over £21.5m for the Senegal international, who is understood to be eager to move to the French capital even if his current employers are not so keen to let him go. With four days left until the transfer window closes, PSG are expected to test Everton’s resolve with a new and improved offer.
