Danny Ings to exit Liverpool in search of first-team football

• Liverpool striker has suffered injury blighted time at Anfield
• Will attract interest from European and Premier League clubs

Danny Ings has taken the difficult decision to seek a move away from Liverpool this summer as he aims to relaunch a career that has been blighted by injuries throughout his time at Anfield.

There is no real desire within the club’s hierarchy to part company with a striker who has become a useful squad player under Jürgen Klopp, but the 25-year-old craves regular first-team football and recognises he will struggle to gain game-time on Merseyside. He will depart with Liverpool’s blessing.
