Manchester United’s race – for second place and respectability – resumes with the visit of Swansea City managed by, Carlos Carvalhal, who has helped his side build a three-point gap above the relegation zone. Next up for United is Manchester City’s visit for the derby when Pep Guardiola’s side could claim the title at Old Trafford. To have any chance of avoiding that prospect Swansea must be beaten so expect Mourinho to use this as motivation. Jamie Jackson
