Charlton owner in takeover talks as CEO Katrien Meire steps down

• Roland Duchâtelet says ‘various interested parties’ in negotiations
• Charlton have been owned by Belgian since 2014

Charlton owner Roland Duchâtelet has revealed the club are in takeover talks with “various interested parties”.

Duchâtelet made the announcement on the club’s official website when confirming the club’s out-going chief executive officer Katrien Meire will not be replaced.
