Crystal Palace threaten bans and legal action against gatecrashers at Brighton

• Two stewards hospitalised and Brighton stadium gates closed early
• We condemn it in the strongest possible terms, say Palace

Crystal Palace fans involved in disorder before the 0-0 draw at Brighton on Tuesday will face stadium bans and possible criminal action.

Palace say there are clear images of the disturbance, which occurred outside the Amex stadium and left two stewards in hospital. Brighton had accused a number of Palace fans of arriving without tickets and seeking to gain entry shortly after kick-off in the so-called M23 derby.
