Crystal Palace agree £26m fee for Liverpool’s Mamadou Sakho

• France defender to have medical before move to Selhurst Park
• Sakho expected to sign five-year deal at Palace

Crystal Palace look set to sign Mamadou Sakho after they agreed a fee of £26m with Liverpool for the France defender.

Palace saw a bid of an initial £22m plus £3m in add-ons rejected earlier this week, with Liverpool holding out for £30m for the 27-year-old, who spent part of last season on loan at Selhurst Park.
